If Not Now

If I am not for myself, then who will be for me?

If I am only for myself, then who am I?

If not now, when?

This Jewish proverb says it all.

Who are we if we don’t have purpose?

What are we waiting for? There’s never been a better time that now.

Teresa Harris is a brand strategist with a twenty year career in brand, marketing, advertising and communications strategy.

She believes in the power of authentic, meaningful storytelling.

She has spent much of her career working in agencies in the UK and the USA.

At Crispin Porter & Bogusky she developed global brand strategy for clients such as Coca Cola (Coke Zero and vitaminwater), Fruit of the Loom and Turkish Airlines. In London she created global brand and communications strategies for adidas, hp, Xbox and InterContinental Hotels Group and worked on the complex brand transformation of Royal Mail which involved many years of deep digital and CX strategy.

In New Zealand she has been Head of Strategy at Special Group, delivering award-winning campaigns for the likes of 2degrees and Smirnoff. At Saatchi & Saatchi she lead the strategy for the Telecom / Spark transformation and designed Toyota’s brand platform which is still going strong 10 years later.

She is an independent consultant who works with agencies, or direct to client, devising brand and communications plans and specialising in strategic storytelling. Her brand manifesto for Turkish Airlines even ended up as the script for a Superbowl spot and was voiced by Morgan Freeman. Sure, it was never supposed to be an ad but when you hear your words spoken by the voice of God you can put the technicalities of comms strategy aside and have a nice cup of tea.
